Market Outlook of May: Europe turned again to recession

Economic data indicates that European countries have, according to the expectations, turned again one by one towards the recession. Differences between countries are widening as the Southern Europe is sinking dramatically in relation to other European countries. We are also hearing slightly negative economic data from the US, suggesting that the growth rate is slowing down. However, according to the FED’s latest definition of policy, the third round of quantitative easing (QW3) would require clearly more negative macro economic news. As well in Europe, the ECB has communicated that it would prefer to see current resuscitative actions to work.
